This class will discuss the wisdom gleaned from my experience with sheltered and “rescued” animals, both in my experience as a volunteer and as an animal communicator.  I will share some of my personal history with rescue work, and discuss the many things I’ve learned along the way from the animals with whom I have lived and worked.

Animals come into rescue situations for a variety of reasons and in a variety of ways, involving both their physical lives and their higher spiritual purposes.  Very often, it is easy to overlook the spiritual perspective in our involvement with the physical realities of overpopulation, neglect, and abuse in our society.  Attending to both our own and the animals’ spiritual lives can assist us greatly in being most effective in our work.

In this class, I will share some of the tools that I have learned from my experiences with the animals.   We will also discuss ways that rescue workers can be more effective by taking care of both themselves and the animals at the same time.

From this teleclass, you will:

  • Gain tools for understanding animals’ perspectives
  • Gain tools to help yourself avoid burnout and also be more helpful to the animals
  • Learn what animals have to teach us and why they come into their life situations
  • Learn about animals’ spiritual purposes
  • Learn techniques for sending and receiving telepathic communication
  • Discover resources for further study

Since childhood, Nancy has had a passion for animals, and a fascination for understanding how other beings think, feel, and view the world.  She communicated with and understood animals telepathically as a child, and then reconnected with this ability after she adopted her first dog as an adult.

Nancy's professional training as an animal communicator has been with Penelope Smith, founding pioneer in the field.  She is trained to teach Penelope Smith's  Basic and Advanced Animal Communication courses.  Nancy is also a staff writer for Species Link, the Journal of Interspecies Telepathic Communication.

Nancy's background as a professional musician and educator has helped her  understand the “unseen” realms of communication and feeling.  She says that this background also assists her in working with and teaching clients.

Nancy is a Reiki Master Teacher through the International Center for Reiki Training.  She is qualified to work both in-person and long-distance with the powerful healing energy of Reiki,  as well as to teach Reiki to others. Nancy is also a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and has additional training in Lifeforce™ Yoga Therapy.

Nancy says, "I have learned a great deal from the animals in my volunteer work with many local and national animal rescue organizations.  I live in the mountains of Prescott, Arizona with my animal family of dogs, cats, chickens, and horses, who are my best friends and teachers."
