About Dr. Kim Ogden-Avrutik

I really love what I do as an animal communicator. It "fits" me. Helping people with their animal concerns is what I feel I was born to do. I was in public health for about 15 years and I have my doctorate degree in public health. I like to say that I've just changed the "public" I try to help. And helping is the best thing. I've been extremely fortunate as an animal communicator and I've been able to help animals of all species. Whether it be a dog or turtle or bird or cat, I believe that all animals have an important story to tell, and the best part is that they get to tell it to me, the animal communicator. Then I get to tell it to their human. That's a big part of who I am and what I do. It's what I really love to do.

I enjoy giving classes and teleclasses. It's really a pleasure for me to see the faces and hear the voices of people when they truly understand that their beloved animal friend can communicate in something besides tail wags or wing flaps. It's the moment of magic! It's when people's whole world changes. Then they understand that their animals really are sentient, intelligent beings who can communicate directly and clearly with them.

I've been on ABC World News, CNN, NPR and Fox TV, have a published book from Lantern Books, and the best-selling dog related CD in the world. Articles have been written about my work in USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, New York Post and the LA Times.

I have a doctoral degree in public health, and as a guitarist, I've played at the Rose Bowl and Anaheim Convention Center. Nothing, however, gives me greater happiness than hearing the joy in people's voices when they first realize their animals can communicate with them telepathically.
