Hi Betty- Great seminar!! I have a cairn terrier and an old world german shepherd and I am wondering if you can give me an idea of where to start for feeding them breed specific diets.
Hi Ellieg,
Great news! Even though Cairns and GSDs are different *breeds*, they are the same species, which makes them both carnivores. Therefore, if you go to my article “Nutrition for Companion Carnivores,” by Betty Lewis http://home.earthlink.net/~pawsreflect/nutrition.html , you’ll get a ton of information to get you started. Remember to follow the links at the end for even more help.
Thanks for being on the call and good luck with the new direction in health for your dogs.
Betty
