Hello Again Christine Asthma is quite a deep pathology. When treating this condition I would suggest low potencies more often In this case possibly a 12 c once or twice a day... It will take time and as a rule Homeopathy and cortisone are not compatible. Cortisone is very strong and the remedy may not penetrate its action. You will need time to see if the remedy works so if the only option is the cortisone you can give the remedy on a daily basis and see if he/she responds. The entire case should be taken to see if Sulphur is indeed the correct remedy. If you have a Homeopathic Veterinarian in your area they can do this.

Good Luck

Hello Christine I am so I took so long in getting back to you. There were some technical difficulties. In answer to you question number 1 - If the remedies are in pellet form and have not been exposed to excessive heat they do retain the energitic vibration for long periods. I have some remedies for over 10 years and they are still quite usable. Question 2 - I do not find the remedies have the same action when used topically They seem to have to touch some membrane of the nose or mouth for them to resonate with the being. Misting the air would be an option...

Hi Donna,

I have another question. My 13 year old cat - Misty - was recently diagnosed with asthma. She had stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly, so we took her in. It was very obvious according to the chest x-ray that it was asthma. The Vet started her on 1 tablet of Prednisilone a day and she is now a new kitty. She's playing and is as frisky as my 3-year olds. I notice that her asthma symptoms (which seem to be constant instead of having asthma attacks). Her symptoms seem to be returning earlier each day, and she's only being dosed once a day. The problem (other than being on steroids) is that we are supposed to be reducing her medicine to 1/2 tablet a day, but I'm seeing her asthma sysmptoms starting to return within 12 hours of taking her pill. This wasn't the case 1 month ago, but it appears that the medicine is becoming less effective for her.

I just did some research on homeopathic remedies and Sulphur is what was recommended from abchomeopathy.com. I'd love to get her off of the steroids. What would be your dosing recommendation in this situation?

Thanks again!
